Today LayOut with Maja Design...

Happy Day!
I played with Maja's brand new collection Vintage Romance! I adore it! If you have not added this beauty to your scrappy stash then what are you waiting for? It's completely wonderful!
I did a bit of fussy cutting around the medallion shape of one of the backside papers and enhanced the edge with another fussy cut piece in a darker shade and layered atop this beautiful floral pattern.

A few layered flowers and berries with a bit of wood and Voile...
It makes my grandbaby's photo pop right off the page!

A stenciled pattern adds the perfect texture and compliments the flowers and crystal pieces perfectly.

Maja Design LO... Memories

Hello There!
It’s my turn to share here on Maja’s wonderful Blog. I am excited each time I get to look through all the
beautiful papers and pick a few to create with. This time I chose pretty pink, cream and purple prints from the
Enjoying Outdoors collection. I adore scripts and damask prints, so this is a perfect creative combination
for my to get to play with.
I have added a few flowers, bling, and twine to complete my page!

I simply wound twine on my hand loosely and place it in a few key spots to have a balanced look and over all color movement.

Flower clusters with bling and a wood title add sweet finished touches,                          along with layers of gorgeous Maja papers!

Frank Garcia's Artisan Powder...

I created this heritage page to showcase the beautiful Artisan Powder from Prima's very own Frank Garcia's Memory Hardware. This powder is highly pigmented with a fabulous matte finish. It can be rubbed/brushed on
or added to most mediums.

This is a photo of my Great Grand Parents, Grand Mother and
Great Uncle from 1919.

Lots of layers here...Mixing papers , flowers, and metals along with stenciled background using the Artisan Powder.

A closer view of the stenciled background and the alphabet I colored
using the Artisan Powder

I simple mixed the Artisan Powder with 3D Gloss Gel and Stenciled
randomly o my page.

Using a soft paint brush I simple brushed the Artisan Powder on these
canvas alphas to my desired color.

Maja Design, You and Me LO...

Hello and  Welcome to my New Maja Design Post.
I created this page using this beautiful Vintage Spring Basics Collection. It’s one of my Maja faves, one of many.
I kept this page pretty clean and monochromatic.
There’s a bit of chipboard and stenciling to enhance the gorgeous patterned papers.

I have added a sweet photo of my daughter and her soon to be husband.

Pretty white flowers and wood icons added and enhanced with
sparkling beads.

Rolled and torn papers add to the shabby feel and add dimension
to this page.

These papers are filled with subtle patterns and perfectly distressed.
I have a few die cut doily flowers made from the pretty Maja papers too.

Maja Design, Pure Sunshine LO...

Hello! Welcome to my New Maja Design Post!
The weather is beautiful here in Alabama and I think this LO reflects it.
I wanted to create something fresh and Spring like!
I started with a soft yellow back drop and added pops of brighter yellow, white and brown.

Lots of layers here beginning with some die cut circles and few fussy cut flowers from the beautiful Maja papers.

I used modeling paste to stencil a subtle design in the background and a large alphabet for some pop.

I added pretty flowers, a chipboard flourish and some metal pieces for the perfect accents.
There a bit of twine and crochet pieces for texture too.

Fabric Mini Album with Video Tutorial...

I created this Fabric Mini Album on Live With Prima a few weeks ago.
I like the idea of adding different textures and mediums to my projects but fabric has to be my favorite. As sewing and fabric work was my first love it just makes since to create projects now and again that have that home love feel.
The fabric here is soft yet makes a grand statement when paired with the beautiful Prima embellishments.

I'll show you step by step how to create your very own.
Hope you enjoy the Video...

A New Maja Design Post...

Hey Hey Everyone! Welcome to my newest Maja Design post!
I created this page with a sweet photo of my grand baby when she was 9 days old.
She will soon be 3… time flies by, for sure.
I used Enjoying Outdoors Collection and I adore the delicate pattern in
the floral paper here.
I am hooked on paper taring lately. I like the vintage feel it gives and the
shapes that can be created.
I adore this soft floral pattern and it pairs perfectly with the distressed solid
and beautiful striped papers.

I added beautiful floral clusters, mixing in die cut doilies with
resin and wood accents.

The detailed doilie flowers were created using a punch and pinching them at the center…
I added the resin flower for sweet detail.

I just love the torn, rolled edges …
